Internal Events Producer — San Francisco
I produce internal events and communications programs that build culture, spark connection, and make employees proud to show up — from 50-person offsites to company-wide kickoffs.
"Danielle is an incredible storyteller who demonstrates a strong affinity for 'the customer.'"
— Asma Stephan, Head of Content / Samsara
Hi, I'm Danielle — a marketer, designer, historian, and quiet observer of the universe.
I grew up between Southern California and North Carolina. Today, I reside in not-so-sunny San Francisco. (I still say y'all.) I've lived in both Paris and Tel Aviv, and I travel as often as I can.
Over my career I've shaped employer brands, launched careers sites, produced events with thousands of attendees, and built communications programs at some of the most interesting companies in tech — Airtable, Samsara, Marqeta, WeWork, ironSource, and more.
Other interests include interior design, vintage cars, typography, cloud watching, and stargazing.
Earned Marqeta placements including #1 SF Best Midsize Places to Work, #2 SF Best Places to Work, and top-10 nationally.
Chronicled Marqeta's six-year commitment to the premier tech and wealth-building platform for the Black community, rooted in community investment.
Communicated Marqeta's new hybrid work policy company-wide, centering employee autonomy and work-life balance.
Partnered with the CEO and VP HR to define an EVP, directed photo and video shoots across four offices, and launched on Contentful.
Fast-turn ghostwritten piece for a Sr. PMM. Top read on the Samsara blog for 6 weeks running — 6,200+ views.
Repurposed event footage into an employee-shareable talent brand video. 2,700+ views, widely shared across personal networks.
Organized a sold-out 250-ticket live panel. 100 in-person attendees plus 2,000+ livestream viewers for the first event in a three-part series.
Launched Airtable's Instagram presence from zero to 3,000 organic followers in 3 months. Used Stories and Highlights to showcase culture for prospects.
Led the Fellowship for builders tinkering toward category-defining companies — an early-stage community and talent initiative.
Chronicled a session at the Talent Brand Alliance annual conference, within the employer branding and recruitment marketing space.
Edited and shepherded a series of employee stories focused on how developers found Samsara and what they're building — in their own words.
Three-part series bringing casual users high-quality templates, built on a tentpole calendar co-created with an external PR agency.
Danielle has an unwavering commitment to excellence; she creates and innovates in ambiguity. Her expertise was integral for a scaling company moving towards a remote, global culture. Danielle would be a value-add to any organization seeking to achieve notable brand success.
Danielle is an incredible storyteller who demonstrates a strong affinity for 'the customer.' She has a keen sense of empathy and creates thoughtful strategies to engage them. She is results-driven and strives to make an impact in her work. Managing her was a delight.
Danielle is fearless, curious, kind, and resilient. Expect great things. She is an excellent project manager, a keen designer, creative event planner, and relentless when it comes to tracking dollars and cents.
Regardless of the role, Danielle is always reliable, efficient, and detail oriented. She goes above and beyond every single day and often volunteers to work additional hours to ensure we meet deadlines.
Danielle's unique combination of marketing acumen and graphic design skills made her a valuable asset to our team.
There is truly nothing Danielle cannot do — she is the definition of "jack of all trades," from producing professional and enticing content to remodeling an entire website on her own.
